Strauss von Salgen is a stunning 4 year old German Shepherd. Strauss is a gorgeous, good-sized guy who is a true sweetheart, the kind of dog who gazes in your eyes and draws you in and wants nothing more than to be with you. He is fine meeting other dogs but doesn’t seem as interested in them as he is in pleasing you. He greets dogs in the play yard well but isn’t too interested beyond a quick hello, and does best around calm dogs. Leaning on you for love and affection seems to be his motivation, as well as taking treats gently from your hand. Strauss isn’t a dog who loves cats so, “no, thank you” is what he says about them. He does seem to be housebroken.
